What Is Europe By Bus?
I’ve always loved traveling by buses and coaches, which helps considering my daily commute was mostly made up of a 45-minute bus ride. International bus rides are even better because I love gazing out the window and catching a glimpse of the passing countryside, cities, and people.
I also love budget travel, and whilst I don’t mind flying I can understand why it may not be your favourite thing in the world.
Europe By Bus is a travel diary which focuses on budget travel, solo female travel, and land based travel. One day I hope to catch buses and trains from London to Japan and beyond, but for now, I’ll settle for Bulgaria.
You may have noticed that I use affiliate links from Amazon, Virgin, Lastminute.com and more. I know it’s annoying when you visit a website and see a whole bunch of adverts, but I’m afraid it’s a necessary evil. If you want to give me money without actually giving me money, and you want to buy something from Amazon, then it would be great if you could use my links to complete your purchase. The cost to you will be the same, but I’ll get a small cut.
Hiking Backpack 50L (45 + 5) Nylon Waterproof Backpack Outdoor Sports Day Package Hiking Camping Fishing Trip Cycling Skiing by Newpurslane (Dark Blue) is something I really recommend. It’s small, light and great for month-long trips.
I’m a 24 freelance writer from London, England. I studied history at university and straight after that I worked in a call center in central London for two years. I quit that job last year to travel and work as a freelance writer. Since then, I have traveled to 13 countries, I’ve had the opportunity to review West End productions, I’ve been paid to write on all kinds of topics, and in September I’ll be going back to university to study a Masters in Magazine Journalism.
I’m a little different to some other travel bloggers in that I am not a full-time traveler. I normally travel for a month and then go home to recharge, wash all my clothes and work on my writing career. Full-time travel sounds amazing and I know people who have been on the road for over a year and are loving it, but I personally wanted to travel and work on my future in a way that made sense to me. And it seems to be working so far!

My website is hosted by biz.nf. They let you set up a free WordPress website with its own domain, and then if you want unlimited traffic and a few extras you can upgrade for around £25 for six months. It’s not perfect, but it’s the best thing I’ve found.
